Is This You?
As a financial
planner, do any of these situations seem familiar?
-
You seem to be working harder but
not seeing the results on your bottom line. The days just slip
past, and you end up working nights and weekends just to keep
up. Your spouse/partner/significant other just wishes you would
be home more (and, by the way, bring home a bigger paycheck,
too). You want your life back so you can spend more time doing
things that are important to you.
-
You are stuck serving clients that
don’t really excite you or use your skills. You wish you could
define your ideal client and then take positive steps toward
building a practice full of clients you truly care about.
-
You feel alone in your work. If
you are out on your own, you may feel isolated (despite
relishing your independence). If you work for a firm, your
manager doesn’t ever seem to have time to support you in your
work. Or your company just cares about your numbers. Your
buddies are tired of hearing you talk about your frustrations at
work.
-
You are a
skilled financial planner, but the day-to-day running of your
business either bores you, or overwhelms you. You wonder where
the zest you used to have for your work has gone. You wonder
what is missing.
